Our Story
The Aura Bath was born from a simple observation: true wellness begins with balance.

For years, we watched friends and family struggle with the same scalp issues—oiliness that returned within hours, dandruff that refused to go away, and sensitivity that made every shampoo feel like an irritation. The commercial market offered only two choices: harsh anti-dandruff shampoos that stripped the scalp, or overly gentle products that cleaned nothing.

We knew there had to be a third way.

Drawing from Traditional Chinese Medicine’s herbal wisdom and Western aromatherapy’s precise botanical knowledge, we set out to create a line of hair care that works with the scalp’s natural rhythm, not against it.

We believe that healthy hair starts from a healthy scalp. And a healthy scalp is one that is neither stripped nor suffocated, neither irritated nor neglected. It needs the right balance of cleansing, nourishment, and respect.

That is why every The Aura Bath product is built on three pillars:

1. Eastern Herbs, Western Aromatherapy
We pair time‑honoured TCM botanicals—purslane, sophora, licorice, centella, arborvitae, calendula, ginger—with clinically proven essential oils—cedarwood, rosemary, lavender, tea tree, peppermint, sandalwood. The herbs address the root cause; the oils support the scalp environment.

2. Amino Acid Cleanse, Not Soap
Traditional soap bars are alkaline (pH 9–10). Your scalp is naturally acidic (pH 4.5–6.5). The mismatch damages the skin barrier over time. Our bars use mild amino acid surfactants (SCI‑85, SCG‑11) that create a rich, creamy lather at pH 5.0–6.5 — gentle enough for daily use, effective enough to remove excess oil and impurities.

3. Zero Waste, Full Traceability
We package our shampoo bars in FSC™ certified kraft paper boxes with no plastic inserts. Our incense sticks use only natural plant powders and essential oils, no charcoal or synthetic perfumes. Every ingredient is listed in full INCI format, because we believe you deserve to know exactly what touches your skin.

Clear Dawn – cooling & anti‑itch, for oily, flaky scalps (purslane, sophora, cedarwood, rosemary)

First Soft – gentle & soothing, for sensitive scalps (oat, chamomile, low‑concentration citrus & lavender)

Warm Infusion – stimulating & revitalising, for poor circulation and thinning hair (calendula, ginger, lemongrass)

Wild Clean – deep oil‑control & dandruff defence, for stubborn oil and male scalps (arborvitae, mint, clove, eucalyptus)

Each bar is handmade in small batches, cured naturally, and tested for pH and microbial safety.

Our incense line shares the same herbal-aromatic language. Created to complement the bathing ritual — to cleanse the air as our shampoo bars cleanse the scalp.
